Deco M4 does not connect to the air conditioner
Hello,
I have the request to support me in a problem. I cannot connect the Hitachi Air Home 400 air conditioners to the mesh network created with Deco M4. I set Deco exactly as the device manual asks for 2.4 Ghz and WPA2 security, but the connection is not made. I made a hot spot from the mobile phone to check if there is a problem with the devices, but on the hotspot network they connected immediately without any problem. I don't know what settings to make.
Deco M4 firmware version is: 1.6.2 Build 20240308 Rel. 55841.
Thanks in advance for your support.

Thank you for your prompt answer.
How do i see on which wireless channel the connection was established?

That probably depends on your mobile hotspot implementation.
With another wireless device using the Wi-Fi analyzer app you can scan for your hotspot SSID to check its channel.
But you should be able to see on which wireless channel Deco M4 works in the Deco app.

The only acces to the Deco is the Deco app, where i can't see o which chanel the Deco is working.

Well if you can't see that in the Deco app you can use the same Wi-Fi Analyzer app to check the wireless channel of the 2.4GHz Deco SSID.

Solved.
I had to disable fast roaming, respectively the IEEE 802.11r function. It seems that some devices, such as these air conditioners, do not know this protocol.
Thanks for the advice and help.
