Region : Netherlands

Model : TL-WDR4300

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP :

I would like to upgrade the antennas attached to the WDR4300 to improve the range with a couple of meters.

In the specs TP-Link says that it are dualband antennas.

When I look at the TP-link website I can't find any dualband antennas.

So my question to you guys and girls is:

Does anyone know any dualband antennas with a higher dBi than the stock antennas? And where can I get them?

Regards

The dual band feature is controlled by the wireless chip so antenna just helps the wireless chip in the reception and transmission of the signals. So you can attach a higher dBi antenna as long as the physical screw-in connection (RP-SMA) match.

Don't go too much overboard with dBi since it will also increase the amount of noise the wireless chip needs to deal with.
