Model: Archer C64
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: all FW version

Hello,

(sorry for bad english)

I buy plenty of brand new Archer C64(eu) ver:1.0, and I ran into a problem, on 2 router.

1st put in everything go fine, then suddenly my wifi name changed, open the web configuration and see that router go in his factory settings. I set-up him again, after few hours he go again in factory settings, set-up again waitng 1 hour and decided to reboot from tether app, when up - again factory settings.

I thought the router was defective and put it 2nd brand new C64. Same problem, he works but when he decided go into factory settings, sometimes from power loss, sometime when I reboot(web management or tether), sometimes when turn off power source. But not aways go into factory settings.

What I have done:
I test all firmware upgrade, downgrade them, TFTP with first release - all FW same thing. On UPS, without UPS, diffrent power supply - all the same I do not want to open other box, because it sealed.

Have a lot of pieces and I do not want put them on client, can you help me? If you need a log, theres no log after he decided to factory reset itself.

Maybe this router is defective or FW is defective?

Thank you.

Probably it would be best to contact your local support/retailer regarding any of the misbehaving devices.

For that purpose you have to open and test all the devices, whether they would show this issue or not.

If it was a FW issue then all of them would behave the same.

Hi, we didn't reproduce the issue on our end, in your case, the two devices only reset to factory settings after a reboot or power loss, but it doesn't happen on every reboot/power loss, am I correct?

Could you please save a backup file on your router and upload it to a drive, then share with us the download link along with admin password via private message? we will test again with the same configuration.
