Deco X20 causes network problems since fw upgrade
Hi,
Since upgrading my Deco X20 pair's firmware to 1.1.5 Build 20231026 Rel. 62511, I am experiencing regular network problems. Approximately each 7 hours the provider's HGW restarts and a gigabit switch in my network hangs. If the Decos are not switched on, these problems don't happen.
The Decos are in Access Point mode, the main one is connected to the HGW with an Ethernet cable, the backhaul between the Decos is radio.
What can I do to prevent these problems?

Hi, May I know the model number of your ISP HGW home gateway? Can I have the model number of the network switch?
Is the current network layout like:
Internet--HGW--switch---main Deco X20~~~<Wi-Fi>~~~satellite Deco X20
If only the main Deco X20 is connected, will you have the same issue?
By the way, are you able to constantly reproduce this issue?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP Thanks for the reply. The issue is constant. Every 6-7 hours the problem happens. The HGW is a Sagemcom FAST3686 V2, Linux S/W Version 2.6.30-1.7.1mp2-svn12615
The switch is a Netgear GS608 V2
The main Deco and the switch are connected to different ports of the HGW.

I will now unplug Deco2 and see what happens.

Unplugging the secondary Deco did not help. The situation is the same.

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.
It is suggested to turn off "Smart DHCP" on the Deco X20 from the Deco APP.
After that, version 1.1.5 could be downgraded back to 1.1.4 directly via web UI.
If possible, it is also suggested to revert to 1.1.4 to see whether the current issue would stop.
How to Update the Firmware of Deco(method 2)

@David-TP
Downgrading the firmware to 1.1.4 did not help. HGW still reboots every 6-7 hours.
