  @David-TP Have Trouble with the adaptor on my asus 670e proart motherboard. send a support mail to tp link but my issues is..

21 Okt.

Archer TBE550E Started with issues installing and seeing the adaptor i win11. Issues with usb ports stopped working including wireless keyboard.

Later issues stopped and start again with win11 24H2. New format C and got it somewhat stable until

Today new  amd_chipset_software_6.10.17.152 had to be installed.
And total adaptor fail, complete hard fail. tried reverse old chipset drivers, still could not find adaptor. Only bluetooth worked. All USB ports on motherboard stopped working. Nothing that i could do to get wifi adaptor back working, only bluetooth. Win11, Code 10

Sys.
Asus ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI
Asus 3090 reference pcie port 1
Archer TBE550E installed i pcie port 3.
I guess IRQ conflict or conflict with 670 chipset.
I am now using tp link intel wifi 6E adaptor in pcie port 3 and up and running without flaws, so the wifi7 adaptor has hard conflict with AMD 670 boards

Update 22 Okt.
Decided to install the archer tbe550e adaptor again in pcie port 3 to collect info about the issues.
To my surprice after install wifi and bluetooth drivers, the adaptor was found and is up and running, but some web search and others have exact issues.
I can only guess, IRQ conflict, hardware failure will show up again when amd chipset is under stress.
TP link must decide whats gonna happen, is it defect, firmware or software ???

Update 23 Okt.
Support wanted me to use new drivers Archer_TBE550E_V1_Aoturun_2024914 and FAIL.
Wifi and USB port gone, GREAT :(

  @David-TP

Just got one of these adapters in.  I have an archer BE500 with 2.4, 5, 6ghz and an MLO network (set to use 5 and 6ghz).   My previous intel be200 adapter, when connecting to the MLO network would utilize both 5 and 6 ghz, but the TBE550E only seems to ever utilize the 5ghz network for MLO.

Any ideas?  Do I need to open a support ticket?

  @ssrjazz

The chipset in this product, MT7927, only supports 2.4ghz + 5ghz/6ghz mlo. It does not support 5ghz + 6ghz mlo. Therefore, the MLO function of this product cannot be used on BE550, which does not support Wi-Fi 7 at 2.4ghz.

Well hell, that would have been nice to know -before- buying the card.  Nothing seemed to indicate it did not support 5+6Ghz MLO

Guess it's going back to Amazon.

  @ssrjazz Yes, to use mlo on be550, it is better to look for a wireless LAN card with QCNCM865 chipset. It supports 5ghz + 6ghz mlo.

I'll just get another intel be200 with a nice big heatsink on it. My previous one didn't have one so the signal would drop quite a bit when it got warm. I know intel be200 adapters can do 5+6ghz MLO because I was already doing it. Unfortunately, OEM manufacturers like TP-Link aren't very forthcoming with the actual chipsets used in their products in the marketing material.

I'm using this adapter for some weeks and noticed one hick-up on my system. The bluetooth disappears once in a while (disappears in my system tray). It just dropss and pops up again after a few seconds. It's anoyning because my MX Master mouse looses the connection. Any idea to trouble shoot this? Thanks in advance

  @KL643

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

How often did you usually experience this issue-"The bluetooth disappears once in a while (disappears in my system tray). It just dropss and pops up again after a few seconds"? multiple times per day?

It is suggested to check whether the bluetooth cable of the TBE550E is properly connected to the motherboard(might change to another 9 pins F_USB port) and try to disable other bluetooth adapters if there are any.

Best regards.
