Hello,

This is a feature request for additional IPv6 Address Assignment modes on Deco. Currently with the Deco in Router mode, the IP assignment mode for IPv6 on the LAN side is set to DHCPv6. Google devices (Androids, Chromecast, Chromebooks) do not support DHCPv6 at all.

The following Address Assignment mode should be added: SLAAC with RDNSS. This is already possible on other TP-Link router products (Archer etc.)
It would also be nice if Deco could support handing out prefixes with DHCPv6-PD so that routers beyond the Deco could receive their own prefixes, but for a home product I assume this is not a priority.

SLAAC is absolutely necessary as long as Google (~more than half of all wireless devices worldwide) refuses to add support for DHCPv6. SLAAC is also in my opinion a way simpler address assignment mode than DHCPv6.

@havardf I don't know why it's showing up for you like that. I have Deco M4 V2 & It's showing all 4 options ("ND Proxy", "SLAAC + RDNSS", "SLAAC + Stateless DHCP" & "DHCPv6") for me.

Clearly a much better router (XE75) shouldn't be deprived of this

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

You are indeed correct. I must have missed the option when I checked it out, but I see it now. It's under Internet Connection - IPv6 - IPv6 Connection - Assigned Type for anyone else just as unfocused as I was. Thanks ImtiazAli!
