Solution RE220/RE200/RE190 Keeps Restarting Automatically

Phenomenon Description:
a. The Power light keeps flashing, or flashing for a while then goes off
b. The Power light keeps flashing then gets solid, then other lights flash for a second, and the power light goes back to flashing.
Solution:
1. Please plug the extender into a different power socket.
2. Hold the reset pinhole for 10s.
3. If both suggestions didn't help, please click Here to submit your model number and SN number of the range extender first. Then contact the shop retailer or local support office for warranty service as soon as possible.

Oddly eough mine has started doing roughly around the same date of all these. Will try the 10 second reset, else will persue a replacement.

@Gws13 I had this issue, the reset switch under the RE200 doesnt seem to do anything. The support say press it for 10 seconds. I dont think I was pressing it for 10 seconds

This is the endless bootup look I think people are reffering to. Mine is affected. Interestingly if you hold in the Pairing button on the front you can hear a capacitor squeel so it maybe poor quality capacitors causing a power issue during bootup

Although the engineers didn't disclose the specific cause of the range extender failing to boot up properly, I think your suggestion makes sense.
It is not typically advised for users to attempt to disassemble products for repair. If the extender is still within its warranty period, we recommend reaching out to technical support for replacement.

Thanks, Luckily I'm not inclined to open the RE200 - my days of micro electroics faded away with my eyesight ;)
I've purchased another one yesterday and so far it seems to work fine. will return the defective one though the retailer
