Model: Archer AXE300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I transitioned from Netgear to TP-Link and purchaged a AXE16000/Archer AXE300 router. I'm in the middle of my setup in the DHCP Address reservation and would like to know how I can change the LAN name of the devices in my network. With Netgear you can rename devices on the LAN but I'm a little surprised I can't on TP-Link unless i'm missing it.

I would in general like to change the names fo the deves on the LAN so they are more friendly in the Connected Devices section as well.

Any help is appreciated

Ok figured it out, there is a little edit button on the Connected Devices name area, that is where you edit it for anyone else

On the other hand it would be nice to allow us to change it in the DHCP Address reservation area b/c some devices like a Stream don't show up in the connected list unfortunately.

Another thing that would be nice if is you can see the whole device name, it gets cut off and most people have large screens with plenty of real estate and borders on each side of the table
