Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20230627 rel.39033(5553)

Hi,

I have a internet connection of 900mbps.

When I connect my AX53 router as a router I get 700-750mbps wifi speeds. But both my ISP and my personal device are working as routers. When I set my ISP to Bridge and let my AX53 as router I only get 480-500mbps.

Why does that happen? The AX53 isn't capable of routing and sending signal?

Sorry for my english. I'm brazilian.

Make sure that AX53 QoS feature is disabled when working as a router.

You can test another scenario - your ISP device as router and AX53 in AP mode (Case 1) - in this case you'll avoid the double NAT as well.

@terziyski QoS is disabled. Working as AP I get 650-700mbps. I really wanted to use the AX53 as router but I guess it's better to let it as AP.

If it suits your needs in AP mode leave it like that - better bandwidth. Here's the difference betweeen wireless router mode and AP mode.

In their recent FW, models like AX55 has received some advanced features in AP mode. It will be good if that's the case with AX53 as well.
