Solution Archer AX53 V1 and Archer AX72 Pro V1 IoT Network Config Lost in AP Mode after Reboot

Phenomenon Description:
Some users have reported that when their Archer AX53 or Archer AX72 Pro router is in AP mode, the IoT network is automatically disabled after a reboot. To reinstate the IoT network, users must log into the web interface and manually enable it. However, when they switch the device to wireless router mode, this issue does not occur.
Workaround:
If you encounter similar issues, we recommend the following two workarounds, please try either one and confirm if the issue can be resolved:
Workaround 1: please try following steps:
1) Switch the device from AP mode to router mode.
2) Perform a factory reset by holding reset button for about 10s. Please note that all the previous configurations will be lost.
3) After the factory reset, switch the device back to AP mode.
4) Check if the IoT network remains enabled after a router reboot.
Workaround 2. You could also download and update the following beta firmware:
Archer AX53 V1: Archer_AX53_V1_1.2.3_Build_20230925
Archer AX72 pro V1: Archer_AX72_Pro_V1_1.2.3_Build_20240108
Note: Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding.
If there is still any problem after trying the two workarounds, please leave your comments with model no., hardware version, the firmware version of your TP-Link device, its working mode and detailed problem description.
By the way, if you encounter a similar issue for other models, you could also try the workaround 1 first and let us know if it solves the issue.

Hi, if it is the same cause, the workaround 1 should work for you as well
Workaround 1: please try the following steps:

Hi again,
It seems like the final AX55 EU firmware is still not released by TP-Link - so eager to get this issue solved once and for all - I checked the current Archer "AX55(EU)_V1_231130.zip" against the previous Archer "AX55(TW)_V1_231130.zip" (EU vs. TW release) and guess what? The two binaries both named:
"ax55v1-up-all-ver1-2-6-P1[20231130-rel36135]_sign_2023-11-30_10.17.47.bin"
are IDENTICAL for both the TW and the EU release.
So - does this mean that you can use the newly released "Archer AX55(TW)_V1_240129.zip" containing:
"ax55v1-up-all-ver1-3-1-P1[20240129-rel57815]-1024_sign_2024-01-29_19.10.14.bin"
for AX55 V1. in EU countries and still be compliant?

Yes, the AX55 firmware is identical for TW/EU/US versions, we are also waiting for the new firmware uploaded on other EU countries' sites, if necessary, you could download it from the TW site first.
