Hi, thank you very much for the feedback, may I know if the Archer AX72 Pro works on wireless router mode or access point mode?

The iOT network will be disabled automatically after every reboots, right? will other configurations like main WiFi network or login password etc. still exist after the reboot?

AX72 pro is set up as Access Pointy Everything else works fine except the IOT after the restart. Also after the last update the connection is not very stable and keeps disconecting every 10-15 mins for couple od seconds.

Hi, for the unstable connection issue, please disable smart connect, try changing WiFi channel and channel width for both 2.4G and 5G WiFi.

If the problem still exists, please confirm the following details:

1. When the issue happens, the connection disconnects completely or it still has connection to the AX72 Pro but no internet access? will it always recover automatically?

2. Will wired and wireless client devices disconnect at the same time? or only wireless devices are affected?

3. What is the network topology? only one main router and the AX72 Pro access point?

4. How many client devices are usually connected to the AX72 Pro? and what are they?

Regarding the iOT network issue after reboot, we would like to escalate your case to the support engineers, and they will help follow it up, if you are willing to do further analysis, please check your inbox and respond.

Hello,

I also confirm that even after latest firmware update IoT network settings are gone after normally rebooting the router.

My router also operates as Access point.

Firmware Version:

1.2.4 Build 20240125 rel.39949(4555)

Hardware Version:

Archer AX72 v1.0

Hi, please confirm if your device is AX72 or AX72 Pro.

And will the workaround one solve the problem?

Workaround 1: please try following steps:

1) Switch the device from AP mode to router mode.

2) Perform a factory reset by holding reset button for about 10s. Please note that all the previous configurations will be lost.

3) After the factory reset, switch the device back to AP mode.

4) Check if the IoT network remains enabled after a router reboot.
