Range of wifi 7 on BE85/BE95
I want to buy the BE95 but I need to know if the range of wifi 7 is better than wifi 6e as wifi 6e was terrible and the speed would drop sharply over a short range?

@Pras1011 Wifi-7 Improves speeds on all 3 bands (2.4, 5 and 6ghz) so even if you go out of the 6ghz range, you should still be able to see improved speeds on the other bands if your client device supports it.

What I meant was that I assume the be95 uses the extra WiFi 7 channel as dedicated backhaul and therefore is the wifi 7 channel any good as backhual if the routers are placed very far apart?

Each new WiFi protocol offers better speeds in exchange for shorter range and less tolerance for interferences.
WiFi 2.4GHz the longest distance reaching protocol.
WiFi 5 runs on 5 GHz band and shorter distance than WiFi 2.4GHz, but faster speeds.
WiFi 6 runs on 5 GHz band, just like WiFi 5. Faster than WiFi 5, but less tolerance for interference such as walls, ceilings, WiFi and other radio noise.
WiFi 6e runs on 6GHz band. Faster than WiFi 5 and WiFi 6, but shorter distance than any of them.
WiFi 7 runs on 6 GHz band, just like WiFi 6e. Faster than WiFi 6e, but even less tolerance for interference such as walls, ceilings, WiFi and other radio noise.

The point I am making is if you are not happy with WiFi 6e range, WiFi 7 will make you even less happy.
