I understand there is a beta firmware upgrade for hardware V2 which does this. But which other hardware versions of the S4 have a firmware that supports the signal source selection / daisy chain option? I want to make sure the hardware I purchase will support this.

Hi, Deco S4_V4 with the latest official firmware supports this feature and Deco S4_V2 has a beta firmware.

Deco S4_V1 has been out of stock for a while.

Deco S4_V3 doesn't but I barely received the feedback from V3. I think it might be in a small quantities.
