Hi,

ive recently bought a SG605 switch from TP Link.

is it normal that speed is reduced from 920mbps to 770 more or less and that internet suffer some small variations? With ethernet directly connected to my iPad I have stable 920 but when I connect switch to the router ISP, and iPad to the switch,it slows down.

Since it's an unmanageable switch I guess I haven't to configure anything.
so, is it a problem (if it is) of my Switch or they are all like that?

Thanks!!

What is your device: TL-SG605E or TL-SG605 - look at the bottom sticker to check that.

If it's the latter you'd better contact your local tech support for further assistance - here.

@terziyski sorry, it's the SG605E (the managed version).

I think I've solved the problem enabling flow control, but i don't know if it's random lucky.

TL-SG605E is an Easy Smart Managed switch which has a WebGUI as you already know.

Glad to hear that Flow Control solved the issue you've had.

As long as you achieve the speed advertised, it should be. I am using some of these like TL-SG105E/SG108E which sustain pretty much decent performance.
