  @David-TP

Thanks for supporting the Range Extenders that you do with Ethernet Backhaul for easymesh.   Of course I wish there were more, but I'm glad there are some.   I doubled (as expected) my throughput moving from RE815XE (which I mistakenly thought supported ethernet backhaul {Stupid AI reponses}) to RE655BE.   My wife hates the look of little boxes, antennas, and cones on all the countertops and shelves as MESH nodes, but we do not mind the RE's at ground level plugged directly into an outlet.  We changed from 5 Synology Wired Mesh Nodes on shelves (WiFi 5) to 2 Wired TPLink (WiFi 7) and 1 Wireless TPLink (WiFi 6 - old one I had laying around) and we now have better performance (wire speed) all over the house.   I'm still on windows 10, but it will be nice when I switch wto Windows 11 over the summer and all my devices (about 10) can run WIFI 7.  I'm still using my synology as primiary firewall.  That is my only ding on TPLink is how lightweight the advanced controls are for firewall, intrusion detection, alerts and reporting.   Nevertheless I'm pretty happy with my recent addition of TPLink to my home / work at home setup.

I wonder if @David-TP still works for TP Link, he doesn't seem to reply anymore in any threads indecision.

Anyways, would be nice if anyone at TP Link could answer the questions in this (and other) thread(s).

  @David-TP

Is the RE700X v1 planned to support EasyMesh in AP mode?
I have one and would like to configure EasyMesh with ethernet backhaul.

Thank you.

or if they updated the product pages or any of the FAQs or any other information on this website to be current. It's super frustrating.

  @Juan11

Same here, any ETA on where we would get backhaul by ethernet?
