We are constantly enhancing the Tether App to provide you with the best user experience. That's why we're thrilled to announce the upcoming Tether App 4.3 version, featuring a brand new user interface for 11AX Routers. This update aims to make monitoring internet status and managing your network even easier.

@Sunshine the ax10 is a backup router incase the ax73 goes down there always in router mode the ax10 is turned off unpluged i perity connect to the internet run firmware updates , if my main router goes down i have router to fall back to.
is a cheap wifi 6 router cant Ax10 is a cheap wifi 6 router it cat do 160 5 gh but it router will keep me online while the main router if it down will work keep my network up online

This is noted, and regarding the feature of changing WiFi channel on Tether App, it has been added to the App but still require the router itself to adapt to it via firmware update, we will record your feedback and forward to development team.

Great features in the new app! Is there a way a person can rename or add say an alias to the routers so he can quickly differentiate between different routers that are the same model? Other than that it's fantastic. I can create new VPN connections, access QR codes, reset routers, reboot. I can't think of anything missing.
Found a place to edit the name but the function keeps failing when I attempt to save the change
I found a QR code generator right away for VPN but is there one for the wireless network? Found it, the + in the top right corner. My bad again!

Do you mean the function of customizing the device name doesn't work, it shows saved at first and still the default one after you come back, right?
Please share with us some screenshots.
Could you please provide the model no., hardware and firmware version of your TP-Link router? and what is the Tether App version? Android or iOS?

No, I outright get a message that just says "failed" and the name doesn't change.
I've rebooted, Etc., nothing works yet with renaming in the IOS app here

Well, I'm not patient. Haha. I uninstalled the app (something I didn't do before installing the trial) and reinstalled the app. It works fine now. I'm thinking an issue with remnants from previous version of Tether App? Anyways all 100% now here after uninstalling then doing a clean install of the app.
