Hello,

I have currently in my apartment a setup with 2 X50 access points connected via rj45 cables to my ISP Orange Livebox router, one is located on the bottom floor and provides wifi to the bedrooms, the other one is up in the living room.

Would it be possible to add in the existing mesh network a XE75 model and enable the 6ghz bandwirth for the area covered by it ? (while also keeping the 2,4ghz and 5ghz networks enabled) ?

Regards,

Ben.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Yes, you could do that over Deco XE75. You might need to enable 6GHz backhaul for Wi-Fi and Backhaul.

How to Use the 6 GHz Band of Your Deco WiFi 6E System for Your Client Devices

The 6GHz band will be a seperate band from 2.4GHz and 5GHz and only availble on Deco XE75. You will still have 2.4+5 GHz on Deco X50.

Best regards.
