I am unable to chnage security type on this extender. I saw in another post that this was resolved in a firmware upgrade for the UK but seems to not be the case for my region. Please can someone from TP Link resolve this so I do not need to throw away this garbage extender.

This feature has just recently been introduced to some of the contemporary models of range extenders. Whether the TP-WA850RE V7 will also receive this feature I don't know.
