Model: Deco M4

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.5.8 Build 20230619

I was using Archer AX20 as wifi router that is able to have 300 Mbps.

Recently I change to Deco M4 with the same environment and cable but found out the speed is always less than 100 Mbps. I connect to laptop with ethernet cable has the same result.

Why is it? As I understand M4 shouldn't have this limitation

QoS is disabled

Attached is the router setting (sorry not English, didn't find where to change language)

Check QoS settings! There's a maximum bandwidth setting there, and it caps speeds to something below it per device. I think mine was set to something like 75M by default, and I didn't notice it on my 4G connection, but when I switched to a 250/250M fiber I did and was just about to contact my ISP, but then I searched and found said setting. I set the value to 250M and that fixed it!

Happy Deco M4 (v2) user - fingers crossed that the stable 1.7 firmware will be released soon!
