AX55 slow to establish connection to web sites
Recently purchased this router and connected to my ISP(Internode). However it can be slow to establish a connection to websites causing the browser to time out and retry. Usually after retrying all is well with browsing that website. Seems like a slow DNS resolution issue. Checked DNS settings and they are as they should be according to my ISP. Issue is same with different browser and devices. Also checking email in Outlook can sometimes time out.
Running Speedtest with ISP shows correct speed with around 14ms latency. Incidentally Speedtest also sometimes has trouble connecting. I re-connected my previous router(Netgear DEVG2020) and that works fine. Any ideas?

@Markham30 So after changing the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 my internet connectivity issue was resolved. As a further exercise I changed the setting back to auto assign and that now works fine! So I'm not sure what happened there. Could have been an issue with the ISP but that doesn't explain why it was OK when I switched back to my old Netgear router.
Anyhow all seems good now and many thanks for your assistance.

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.
May I know If the issue happens on both wireless and wired devices or only wireless devices?
Please try to change Internet DNS servers manually, set 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the DNS on Advanced->Network->Internet page to see if it helps:
By the way, what is the Internet Connection Type on your router? Dynamic IP or PPPoE?

@Markham30 Thank you for your prompt response.
The issue is with both wired and wireless devices.
I have adjusted the DNS settings as you suggested and will let you know how it goes.
The internet connection is PPPoE.
