Adding AV2000 powerline adapters to existing AV1300 network
Hi,
I already have a powerline AV1300 network consisting of 4 adapters and plan to add 2 more.My question is if there is any advantage or even disadvantage to add a pair of newer and faster AV2000 adapters as prices are quite similar.I would use one of the AV2000 adapter as a base connected to the router. What are your recommendations? Thanks in advance.Andrej

Thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community
Firstly powerline AV1300 and AV2000 are compatiple, so it is okay to use them in the same powerline network.
And it is indeed recommanded to use one AV2000 as the base, in this way, the powerline rate between two AV2000 units will not be limited by the AV1300, but the powerline rate between AV2000 and AV1300 will be limited by AV1300.
