Hello,

I have the Archer C1200 as my main router, connected to my ISP's router which is set to modem mode.

It has LAN configured as 192.168.0.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 so my devices have IP from 2 to 100 when they use fixed IP, and 101 to 254 when they are using DHCP.

I have an another TP-link router wired to the Archer one through the LAN port, having IP address 192.168.0.3. This device has access to the network 192.168.200.x. From there I can ping / trace route the IP 192.168.200.1 without any problem, but I would like to reach it through other devices connected directly to 192.168.0.1

To achieve this, I went to Advances --> Advanced routing, and added the below entry to static routing:

Nevertheless when I try to traceroute it from any other device, I get this:

For some reason the next hop after the main router is not 192.168.0.3, but it's sent out to the internet (10.0.0.1)

I tried to restart the device several times, once I realized when I was not connected to the WAN and did something (I do not remember now what) the routing actually appeared in the system routing table below the screen and then it actually worked (I was able to traceroute/ping the device on 192.168.200.1). Then I again connected back to WAN, and it disappeared, and it does not work at all. 

Should those routes which are valid appear on the system routing table tab? If so, why the one on the top is not shown there? If not, then why it is not directing the request to 192.168.0.3?

By now I guess I tried nearly everything, and it still does not work (even factory reset was done).
