Where is BE85 V2 firmware 1.0.11 Build 20230830 Rel. 6738
Upon installing my BE85 the Deco app. offered this firmware as an update which I installed.
I like to always keep a copy of my currently installed firmware so that I can revert in case of problems where I can't access the internet.
But this firmware version is not present on the Australian version of the TP Link web site.
Can anyone help with this problem?

Why is it so hard for TP Link to provide the same firmware offered for install with the app on the regional web site?
I expect that the TP Link firmware developers will screw up the firmware for this router at some point (based on what I have seen on the forum for other models and the abysmal current firmware for the XE75, although I admit I don't know if TP Link ever provided a working firmware for the XE75) so the least that should be done for customers is to provide the firmware via a medium other than just the app so that people that ensure they have a copy of their current firmware to revert back when this happens.
Or is this just too hard for software engineering to do?

Hi, You can get a download copy here:
Deco BE85(US)_V2_1.0.11 Build 20230830
It has been uploaded to the US official website. Both the EU and the US versions shared the same firmware download link.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP thanks for responding, that link appears to be the US version. I had already grabbed it some time ago.
It's also more than a little confusing to me that the US version of the firmware is ok to use in Australia because it's well known the allowable wireless band usage is quite different to the US.
In fact that is the point of the question, is there any difference between the firmware that would be made available via the AU web site and this US version or does the firmware use some method to work out geographic location and use the appropriate wireless regulatory restrictions?

Hi, It is a very good question and I am sure other users might have the same inquiry.
The firmware available on the official websites supports multiple region codes, including EU, US, CA, UK, AU, and more. In other words, the software download link is the same(while in most cases, there are still exceptions sometimes). The crucial factor lies in the hardware you purchased locally. When updating the firmware, it will automatically adapt to the appropriate firmware version that matches your hardware's region code.
Best regards.
