Added S7 to existing M5 network

I bought an S7 to add to my existing 3 M5s and wanted to set the S7 as my main Deco but when I try to do this it won't let me - I don't remember the exact wording but essentially it was saying that the S7 wasn't good enough to replace the hub M5. Does this sound right?

The wireless specification of the Deco S7 is a little bit higher than the Deco M5, but the security system of the Deco M5 powered by HomeCare™ is more powerful.
The latest firmware of Deco M5 has added many new software features that Deco S7 hasn't supported yet.
