AX72 wi-fi router query

Hi, i have a Archer AX72 that i set up from my router to this unit via the wan port & cant get the internet light to show on the AX72. So i tried pluging in the cable to my LAN port on my router & the internet light came up & i could conect ok. Is this corect as its not what the instuctions say. Thanks

Hi, it is correct to connect LAN of your main router & the WAN of the AX72, WAN to WAN will not work.

Hi, if the AX72 is used as router mode, it should be WAN port of the AX72 connected to the front modem/router LAN port, so please confirm if the LAN port you mean is the AX72 LAN port or your main router LAN port.

@Sunshine Hi, The cable is plugged into the LAN of my router & the WAN of the AX72 & all seems to work ?? I tried WAN to WAN but no internet light
