iPhone disconnects - won't reconnect to mixed Deco-net
Hi, I have a large home-network with a mix of X20 (main), M5 and M4 routers (7 active at the moment). Some are connected with cables and some are not. The network works really well with a significant drawback.
Two of our households many (six) iphones are disconnecting and will not reconnect. The phones (iPhone X and iPhone 13 Pro) are running latest software and we have tried to reset network settings. The phones are also stable on other networks - so it appears to be some kind of network-problem.
Any idea what could cause this? I have looked in the system-logs without finding any clues to what might be happening.

Hi, are these two iPhones all on IOS17?
I see you had the Deco for a while. Did the disconnection start recently?
How often would these iPhones drop out? or would it be possible to reproduce it in a short time?
Here are some suggestions for your reference:
1. Turn off "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.
2. Turn off "Mesh Technology" separately for these two phones.
Wait for your reply and best regards.

Hi @David-TP
Thank you for your reply!
I have tried some of the suggestions you provide before - but i will certainly try again.
The problem was present before the release of iOS17 and continues after the phones are upgraded.
It is a bit difficult to replicate quickly - but I will monitor them a bit closer and see if I se a pattern.
Does the router log such events (attempts to log on, disconnects by the router etc). As mentioned earlier i suspect it might be the router that causes this as the phones work well other places/networks.

Update: now one more iPhone (mine) no longer autoconnects - but works well with other networks.
Anyone else seeing this? I can help with a remote session if @David-TP would like to look closer at this!

Hi, Thanks for the update.
Have you also tried turning off the Private MAC addresses on the iPhones before?
Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions.
So I would like to follow up on your case via email later and check with the engineers to see if they have any better ideas.
Please check whether you can receive my email later.
Best regards.
