What's the maximum number of characters for admin password?

I changed the admin password by copy pasting a long password from my password manager and now I can't login back. My only theory is that the password has a limit of number of characters. I tried reducing the saved password to 15 or 16 characters and it didn't work. What is the limit for the router AC1200?

Hi, what is the specific model no. and hardware version of your router? please check them on the bottom label, such as Archer C1200, V1, V2 etc..
By the way, how many characters is the long password you copied?

@Sunshine it's the V2 EC220-G5 and the password is 42 characters long

Hi, EC220-G5 is a customized model for ISPs only, we don't have much information about it, it is recommended to try 32 characters, if it still doesn't work, you could also try factory reset the device.
