I have a TP-Link VX230v modem router that can with the BT Broadband One product.  I also purchased a static IP address which is associated with my service but cannot see how I configure that in the VX230v set-up screen, you only have the option to enter a username and password to connect the device to the internet.

 

Does anyone know how you configure this modem router with a Static IP address, I have tried contacting the ISP but getting nowhere.

In general if you purchased a static IP address from your ISP then would suffice just to use your ISP provide username/password to get that staqtic IP on your WAN interface.

There's an additional option where you can specify explicitly the IP address from your ISP though:

 

 

Then click on "Save" button on the bottom right corner.

My advise:

Use only your username/password without any additional settings.

Check your WAN IP address here:

 

If you see your paid static IP address then everything's OK and no further action needed.

If you don't see your paid static IP address, contact your ISP for advise and you may need to use the setting from the previous screenshot.
