Deco 5GHZ
For 3 years I could not figure out that why my phones are not able to detect 5GHz wifi from Deco. Looks like its due to some channel issues for some regions
Can any one help as one forum I saw people had requested technical help to update their firmware for their region?
I have latest 6E deco as well but thatsbthe same case. Cannot connect to 5GHz wifi. It not even visible

@StACO It's not an "issue" per se... Deco usually supports Band 1 (channels 36-48) in 5 ghz, but in some countries/regions where Band 1 is not allowed, Deco supports band 4 (with a firmware update)

Hi, Thanks for the message.
Did all of your mobile devices fail to detect the 5GHz of Deco?
I checked the Deco region code from the local official websites and it is the US version so Its 5Ghz should support both band1 and band4.
I wonder if you run a Wi-Fi analyzer on a mobile phone or laptop, what are the most used wireless channels for other nearby 5Ghz signals?
PS: You can find the current 5GHz channel of Deco under Network Optimization:
Thank you very much and best regards.

Only iphone is able to detect and connect with 5GHz. Non other devices are able to see the 5GHz wifi. All devices are latest loke samsund s22 and above as well as latest TV
Under network optimization I get
2.4 Ghz. Channel 4 is perfect
Under 5 Ghz. Channel 44 is perfect

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.
Have you checked the wireless channels on the nearby 5Ghz signals? are they also on the band 4(channel 36/40/44/48)?
I think if you change the channel to band 4, the iPhone might no longer detect 5GHz anymore.
Best regards.
