Deco XE75 PRO Update to firmware 1.2.3 build 20230810 Rel 35583 disables all WiFi networks exept 6E
Hi all
When the Deco app proposed to upgrade my network (3 Deco xe75 Pro) to the latest firmware 1.2.3 build 20230810 Rel 35583 I said yes but after the reboot, all managed by the app, none of my normal WiFi networks (5, 2.4, IoT) were no longer accessible. Next to that, while sitting 2,5 meters from the Deco XE75 Pro, the network is very weak.
Right after the update none of the WiFi networks were active, so I went into the settings using the Deco app, changed the settings of the WiFi networks and set them back again and then they showed up again.
When devices try to connect to the networks, which were operating like a breeze before, they get a message that the network does not reply or that the password is changed.
I have no idea what to do. They are a week old and it gives me a very bad impression of TP-Link. They should have tested this better. No support line and I am at the point of calling it all off and return them. I payed a fortune because I wanted the best and now it turns out to be false.
Really disappointed.
Roger

Hi, Have you tried to factory reset Deco XE75 pro once after the 1.2.3 upgrade?
If you have tried it already, could you please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com (please add the forum ID-621524)with the following details:
1. Can I have a picture of the signal source settings on the satellite Deco XE75 pro, such as:
2. Would the mobile devices be able to connect to the IOT network, if you temporarily changed the IOT network into non-security?
3. Are you able to stably reproduce this issue"When devices try to connect to the networks, they get a message that the network does not reply or that the password is changed", most of the time?
4. Is there any connection problem on the Ethernet connection from Deco?
Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Were you having any issues with the Ethernet connection from Deco XE75 Pro?
Are you able to reproduce this issue most of the time?
"When devices try to connect to the networks, they get a message that the network does not reply or that the password is changed."
Would it help, if you temporarily changed the IOT network into non-security?
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi @Rvunen,
I have the XE75 Pro V2 also, however the Deco app shows the latest version as "1.2.2 Build 20230601 Rel. 66771"
Not sure if it is just a delay for me to receive the update or maybe an incorrect update sent to your device. Last time I checked 1.2.3 was only available for the V1 variant.

Hi, Nice to see you again. 1.2.3 for Deco XE75 Pro V2 is in the release process, and some users might be able to receive the firmware notification on the Deco APP during this time.
Best regards.

Hi @David-TP,
I also checked on the Web portal tplinkdeco.net (192.168.68.1) which also didn't show an update.
Further I checked the support downloads page and the latest version shows what I have.
I will keep checking and let you know if I get the same issues as the OP once installed.

@David-TP Are there any release notes for this new firmware? There does not seem to be any information on the UK website about any firmware for the XE75 Pro V2: https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/deco-xe75-pro/
