Parental Control not working
The parental control stopped working recently and I can't find a fix. So I was looking for advice.
It was all working fine until recently.
My children's profiles are setup, with devices added. Then I recently noticed they were playing beyond their cut-off time that I've setup in the bedtime section. I tested with the "pause internet" option and that does nothing either. Full internet access for devices in the profile are allowed.
The only option to block a device is via the clients section, from there I have to block each device separately but this isn't a long term solution.
I've reset the router to factory defaults and reinstalled the Tether App on my phone. I've also tried it using a web browser on my PC. But the issue remains the same.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I had something simular with my my eldest sons profile,
Turns out he had installed a vpn and would activate it before his bed time cut off was due to start,
It also enabled him to bypass the age restriction that was set up on the tp link router.

@MH59 I'm also having this problem. Exactly the same router.
I think I got a notification of a new firmware version recently so maybe that was it?

@MH59 I am having the exact same problem and did the exact same steps.
Firmware Version:
1.3.3 Build 20230719 rel.78410(5553)
Hardware Version:
Archer AX11000 v1.0
I also downgraded my firmware version and that did not fix the issue.

Thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.
You mean bed time and pause internet are both not working at all, right? Please make sure the device MAC address in the parental control settings and the client list are the same, and also the router system time is correct.
Since you are following up the issue with the local support team, please let us know if there is any update.

Hi, is your router also Ax11000 V1 with firmware 1.3.3 Build 20230719 rel.78410?
You mean only one profile doesn't work and that is due to the VPN connection on the client device, other parental control profiles are still working fine, is that correct?

@Sunshine I've double checked mine.
I've deleted and recreated the profile too, which worked in the past. It's not working now.

Please confirm if the same settings were working fine before you updating the firmware. And other users mentioned that the same issue exists after downgrading to previous firmware, so it might not be the new firmware issue. Did you modify anything else except for the firmware update?
Besides, what is your current hardware and firmware version of your Archer AX11000?
@Shutupandshave @all2neat Please share with us screenshots of your parental control settings and let us know more details about the issue. Also make sure the device MAC address in the parental control settings and the router system time are correct.

that's correct, neither pause or bed time are functional. In fact to verify I created a new group for one of my devices to try to figure it out so I know I have the correct Mac address in the group.
