Hi, I have a Sky Router in my house that connects to my internet.

I use the TP-Link in my office with an Ethernet cable to the Sky router.

It works great, using WAN port, or LAN port - I use the LAN as I find it easier to use only the Sky router for DHCP and this way all my devices are a "single" network.

 

Unfortunately the TP-Link router doesn't think it is on the internet, because the WAN port is open. Secondly, if I do use the WAN port, the IP address for "internet" is 192.168.0...

which is not the one I need to connect to from OpenVPN.

 

I would like to setup a VPN Server on the TP-Link and connect to that from other areas.

Is there anyway to accomplish this?

Since the AX1800 router is behind your Sky Router, the VPN Server on AX1800 is behind the Sky Router as well, in that case, you need to configure port forwarding on your Sky router for the VPN Server.
