So the IP address that devices received from AX23 are within its DHCP server IP pool, but are not the ones you've set into the Address Reservation table ?

"Sly reply" Yes this correct.

Are these IP addresses (set into the Address Reservation table) within the DHCP server IP pool as well ?

"Sly reply" Yes this is correct

Your router is Archer AX23 HW v1.2 - is that correct ? - you can check that on the device bottom sticker.

"Sly reply" bottom sticker Archer AX1800 v1.20

Was the Address Reservation working normally before ? Have you done any FW upgrade recently ?

"Sly reply" I dont know as I made the upgrade when I was installing the router a few weeks back

Can you describe your network setup - any ISP provided devices or other network equipment, etc.?

"Sly reply"

- Fiber headend from Waoo.dk

- AX1800 v1.2

- LAN connection Sly-Dell-2-PC

- LAN connection to AP Netgear R6020 FW 1.0.0.54/LAN connection to AP CICIU NI707539 FW 1.03

- LAN connection 8 port switch 2 NAS drives and one PC

- Wifi Extender Netgear 3800 FW 1.0.0.96_1.0.62

  @SlySly

You have a similar issue with the Sly-Galaxy-S10e - probably you're using a randomized MAC address instead of the phone MAC address for the wireless SSID that the mobile connects to - the Address Reservation MAC is different than the one in DHCP Client List - can you double check that ?

If the MAC address you're using is randomized here's how to change to phone's MAC address:

Android: Settings app -> Network and Internet -> WiFi ->Connect to your Wi-Fi -> Tap the gear icon next to the current Wi-Fi connection -> Advanced -> Privacy -> "Use phone/device MAC"

Re-connect the S10e to your Wi-Fi and test if it gets the IP address reserved correctly.

Keep in mind that this setting is per wireless SSID, not a global setting.

Another question: do you use any Advanced=>Security=>IP/MAC binding settings on the Archer 1800 ?

"Sly reply" Yes this is correct, this is now correctet, Thanks for bringing this to my attentions.

"Sly reply" please elaborate

That means setting the "phone MAC" is done per current SSID that the mobile is connected to, not for all SSID that the mobile can connect.

Did you make address reservation for all devices in your LAN i.e. do you have any other devices that doesn't have an address reservation in your AX1800 ?

Lets activvate IP-MAC binding feature - IP&MAC binding - bind the two MAC addresses of the Sly-dell-2-Pc with their correspnding IP addresses, reboot the router and check the result in your DHCP Client List table.
