X55 "firewall" - Does it act like a traditional router firewall
Hi there,
I used to have a Netgear DG series for 10 years. It had a "firewall" where it denies all incoming traffic (unless services were defined) and allow all outgoing traffic. I see there is Port Forwarding but does this act the same as the old Netgear firewall feature?

@Racan Hi, welcome to the community.
The Firewall feature described here " denies all incoming traffic (unless services were defined) and allow all outgoing traffic" suits every NAT gateway which Deco X55 has as well and it is enabled by default. Port forwarding is another security setting that could be customized on Deco to allow certain incoming traffic over the firewall.
Thank you very much and best regards.
