Hi, welcome to the community.
You might see the release note on Deco X90_1.2.4 here:
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/deco-x90/v1/#Firmware
It barely adds anything new and mainly fixes the reported issue on the previous version and I think it would be quite reliable firmware.
Thank you very much and best regards.

I have 1.2.4 and I think the system has become more unstable, to the point that I started to use the reboot schedule feature to try and fix it.
E.g. my smart tv fails to connect to wifi at times (or takes a long time to connect), and sometimes the wifi download speed gets stuck to < 50Mbps, despite 1G fiberoptic ISP connection and relatively short distance to the main deco unit.
I also still have the strange "abnormal wan port speed" warning, despite proper cabling and 1G upstream connection.
Previous firmware version worked better for me anyway.
YMMV.
Cheers,
Jukka

@Terry-tp 1.24 bricked one of my five x90's. YMMV. Support has not been the easiest. Still trying to get a positive resolution.
