AC1200 DECO S4

I've already reset it multiple times and tried a different Ethernet cable. I moved the node connected to the modem about 15 feet apart in case of interference, but it didn't do anything. When connected to the furthest node, I get around 180mbps (we pay for 200, so that's OK), but only get around 20-30mbps when I'm closest to the "main" node. I've tried multiple devices too.

I changed it to access point mode and it was pretty much the same.

  @Draxxx

Hi, welcome to the community.

Please make sure your DecO S4 is up to date and the latest firmware for Deco S4 V4.6 is

Deco S4(US)_V4.6_1.1.1 Build 20230201

>>How to Update the Firmware of Deco (Method 2 via web UI)

Usually, the main Deco would have a much better speed than satellite Deco units. Please refer to the following suggestions to see whether they helped:

1. change a different S4 as the main Deco: How to Set up the Satellite Deco or a new Deco to be the Main Deco

2. confirm on the Deco APP that each client is connecting to the correct nearby Deco unit.

3. temporarily turn off 2.4Ghz and leave 5GHz only.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
