Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 3.15.2 Build 170525 Rel.37571n

I am wondering where I can check the LAN port speed on the router?

I recently found my computer only gets 100Mps speed when doing speedtest, even in Windows network adapter shows 1G connection to the router, LAN cable is Cat 6.

Thank you.

Not sure if you might have any clue, what could cause the Internet speed is capped at 100Mbps issue on my computer.

I noticed after I upgrade the fireware (reboot), the 1GB Internet speed is back, not sure if that's something in my TP Link router cause the issue?

Archer C7 v2 is with the older green UI - there's no option to check LAN ports speed in the router's WebGUI.

In this case you should check Windows network adapter negotiated speed. If it's 1 gbps then your cable is fine.

If you still have doubts about that test with another cable CAT 5E/6.

On of those two probably have fixed the issue - upgrading to firmware Archer C7(US)_V2_180114 or rebooting the router.
