can anyone help just received new virgin hub 5 and powerline has stopped working looking  foe help to solve problem

Hi, how about the LED status on your powerline adapter and extender? especially the powerline LED.

 

Please connect a computer directly to the new virgin hub 5 via Ethernet cable to test if the wired connection works fine, if so, use the same cable and same port to connect the new hub 5 to powerline adapter. Also try moving the powerline extender into the same room as the powerline adapter to see if it makes any difference.
