Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I have connected Deco XE75s to anTP-Link Archer AC2100 modem router.

Should this modem router now be set to bridge mode?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco XE75 pro is also a wireless router by default so it would be great to set Archer AC2100 to bridge mode so that we could get rid of double NAT issues.

Best regards.

Is there any way to test whether I indeed currently have double NAT issues between these two devices?

Hi, you could start checking the IPV4 address on the Deco APP>More>Internet Connection.

Then please go to https://whatismyipaddress.com, the address here would be the internet IP address on the AC1200, not the one on Deco.

Or you might also find the wireless clients from AC1200 would have a different IP range from the devices connected to Deco.

Later, if you need to open any ports or use DDNS service for clients behind Deco, you might have two NATs/firewalls to get through.

But in other words, if you did not have any worries about remote access, two NATs are still able to provide proper internet connection and network speed so that it does not have to set AC1200 into bridge mode.

best regards.

@David-TP Thanks for your reply. Does the attached suggest that I have a double NAT issue?
