Model: RE505X
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.12 BUILD 20211107 Rel. 182157

My extender is not supporting wifi 6 on 2.4 G network

But on 5G it is working fine....kindly suggest if need to change any setting...also updated the firmware... Host router is Archer AXE95.

  @Jaspr33t

How do you determine it doesn't support Wi-Fi 6 in 2.4G band? and what is the LED status on the RE505X?

If the RE505X cannot connect to 2.4G Wi-Fi of Archer AXE95, you need to double-check if the password is entered correctly.

  @Jaspr33t

Hi,

I guess you will need to return it to the place you've bought it from, for the reason that it doesn't fulfill your expectations.

But be careful about stressing the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 issue unless you can really show them something that specifically states that the RE505X supports it.

As a general rule for your future purchases, Wi-Fi equipment (be it extenders, routers or whatever) labeled as "AX1500" usually never supports Wi-Fi 6 on the 2.4 GHz band. Look for devices labeled "AX1800" instead.

By the way, here is the spec's page for the RE505X: https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/range-extender/re505x/#specifications
