Deco M20 can't connect TUYA devices
Hello,
I have four Deco M20 devices distributed across my house.
I am completely unable to connect to Tuya devices. The Tuya app just doesn't find the device.
I also have a Devolo Magic 1 Kit (Powerline) to connect to my camera in the garage. The local unit is connected by Ethernet cable, the remote unit is WIFI only.
Same SSID and same password on this remote unit!
When I take the Tuya device down to my garage, the pairing process works instantly.
To make things more interesting: when I go back to my house, the devices still work and reconnect without any problems.
Just the pairing doesn't work with the Deco devices.
It did cost hours of my life I'd rather have back...
Is there any solution?
What I've already tried:
.) disable 5G, so only 2.4G is enabled
.) switched off fast roaming
.) shorter and less complex passwort (before I tried in the garage, so it wasn't the issue)
.) rebooting the whole Deco mesh
I also tried many different Android devices: my Galaxy Z-Fold 3, my sons Galaxy Note 10, a Galaxy A50, an old Mediatek tablet, an old Google Nexus tablet and my Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra. In the garage, I just used my Z-Fold 3. Worked instantly.
The problem is definitely in the Deco devices.
Any help is appreciated...
