Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.4

Hi,

I just bought this router. I set up parental control to filter certain websites. Now this does not work. If the Parental Control is on, devices in the profile loses connection to the internet. I have to turn off the Parental Control for the connection to be back, but then the content filtering is completely gone. How to fix that? Thanks in advance.

For everyone's information, the reason Internet connection was still lost after unpausing parental control was because a time schedule is needed. If not, the default would be no internet. And the best way to configure is using web broswer not the mobile app. In we browser, it actually prompted me about time schedule is needed, while mobile app. didn't.

Hope this helps people who have the same issue. :)

To be more clear, below part doesn't work. Unpause internet does not enable internet connection. I had to turn off parental control completely. Plus, there has been no history usage for any devices added in the profile.

To Pause Internet Access Immediately If you want to keep your children from accessing the Internet, you can do it with a click. Find the profile and click in the Internet Access column. All devices in this profile will be restricted from internet access. Note: 1. The pause function cuts internet access of the profile even if there is remained online time. 2. You can click to enable access again. 3. The pause function does not affect the remained online time.
