Model: Deco M4   HX220
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.5

My internet provider upgrade its system and provide new Wi-Fi 6 device TP-LINK HX220 AX1800 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi AP.

HX220 connected properly to the DECO MESH network but it is seen as WAN connection for the DECO App.

HX220 Aginet App see only directly connected devices but not the complete chain of DECO devices.

What is the compatibility between this types of devices ? Will I have to use to differents App to manage my network ?

  @jRCote

Hi, welcome to the community.

When Deco M4R connects to HX220 via Ethernet, HX220 would work just like other brands of Wi-Fi routers except it is also from TP-Link. So you have to use different Apps to manage the whole network.

If most of the mobile clients have updated to WiFi 6, you might consider updating Deco M4 to Aginet ISP Mesh solutions:

https://service-provider.tp-link.com/home-wifi-system/

Or if you prefer Deco, replacing HX110 with  a Deco WiFi 6 model would also be a good solution:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
