Hi All,

i recently bought TP link Archer AX50 / AX3000 router for the 5 Ghz connection but unfortunately, it only has until 140 DFS (DFS should not be used since it is reserve for radar and military use). Is there any firmware update for this bands to work?

Hi,

If your Archer AX50 doesn't have channels 149 to 165, then your router is probably one that's been designated for the European market. (label on the bottom reads "Model: Archer AX50(EU)")

Wi-Fi routers (of any brand) made for the European market usually don't support these channels.

If you had an AX50 whose label reads "Model: Archer AX50(US)", then these channels would be available in the channel selection menu.
