Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Latest

Hello there.  I just got this router to replace my old Linksys router.  I've got a hdd connected to the routers USB3 port.  When I transfer files over the network to write to this HDD i'm only getting 20 MB/s write transfer rate.  My old Linksys router used to give me 60MB/s.  Is there some way to fix this?  Is it set up this way in the firmware?  Please help.  Thanks

Hello @captbaldo

20 MB/s write transfer rate may not be good for AX6000. You may share more details with the community then we can try to suggest.

What kind of HDD you are plugging into the USB port of AX6000? What's its format? AX6000 supports file systems such as NTFS, exFAT, HFS+, and FAT32.

How is the computer connected to the AX6000 when you're transferring the files to the HDD? Does it negotiate at a good 1000Mbps speed? If it's a wireless connection, make sure the link speed is good enough.
