Model: Archer C2300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.4 Build 20210705 Rel. 72893
WiFi Router: Tp Link Archer C2300 V1 (EU)
Firmware Version: 2.0.4 Build 20210705 Rel. 72893

Hi,

When I turn on IPv6 on my router the tether app does not recognize my router and says it's an unknown router and I am unable to login to my router via the app, but when I am on IPv4, the app works fine.

When I bind the router with my tplink Id, it shows the router but still I am unable to login into the router via the app.

Kindly resolve this issue on a high priority basis as soon as possible.

Thanks

  @rhakbari

This behavior has been observed before - here's an old thread on that matter.

What you could try is to update your FW (Case 1) to the latest release - Archer C2300(EU)_V1_220114 and test if there's any improvement.

Also make sure that you're with the latest version of the Tether app.

  @terziyski  The router's firmware is updated as you can see i have mentioned the firmware version which is the latest one. This is apparently an app bug which needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Also the link you provided above for the thread is from 2017 and yet the developers have not released a fix for this issue so this bug needs to be addressed on high priority basis.
