Hi there,

 

im getting really slow (0.38 on speed test) and also unstable connection dropping in and out. I've tried restarting a few times but I'm not sure what to do next.

 

my TL-WA850RE is 2 years old

its v6 hardware

1.0.0 Build 20190422 Rel. 52057 Firmware

any help appreciated!

Hi,

 

1. What is the speed of your router 2.4GHz WiFi on the same client device at the extender location?

2. Please try moving the extender closer to your router, then check the speed and monitor connectivity again

3. Please test the extender wired speed by connecting a computer to the extender via Ethernet cable.

 

If only the extended network is quite slow, please refer to the instruction below for troubleshooting:
