When will we get an OpenVPN server??? Being able to join my network remotely helps with troubleshooting...

 

I was able to do this on all my previous Archer including the last AX90 I replaced with these Deco units... 

 

VERY INFURIATING THAT THESE UNITS LACK VPN AND A WEB BASED GUI

Hi, welcome to the community.

This feature would be added on most currently active Deco Models but it's being slowly rolled out. It was just added to the Deco XE75 V1 a few days so I would assume the Deco X95 is on the way.  The new firmware normally gets updated on Fridays. So it is suggested to look at https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/deco-x95/#Firmware on a regular basis.

Hi David,

 

Been 6 weeks since this firmware was released for V1 - could you expedite OpenVPN rollout for XE75(2.0), please?

 

Really eager to secure my connection & it's one of the reasons I upgraded my devices to the XE75 - the assumption was the latest models would support the latest protocols.

Bump - would it be possible to get some insight on this please David, if the firmware was released to the XE75 V1 over 6 weeks ago, then it should in theory be logical that the XE75 V2 would follow on soon afterwards, so sorry to ping you again, just eager to have the ability to access OpenVPN on this related model.  Many thanks
