Archer T3U Speed capped at ~200Mbps using USB3
Dear TP Link Support Team,
I just bought T3U and except quite difficult installation and many problems with drivers I have noticed that speed within my internal network is capped at ~200Mbps when using T3U at my desktop. I have checked the rates for the link speed and it is between 780-866Mbps so there should be no limit from this point of view. I have MB Z68A-D3H-B3 (F13) and using Deco M9 plus backhaul wired. Could you please advise how to get full speed?
Thank you in advance..

Additionally, I have checked USB Device Viewer and I can see that device operates as USB2 instead of USB3

Just tested latest available driver V.1030.45.0422.2022 (deviceinbox com/drivers/2016-realtek-wifi-usb-adapter-drivers.html"). Unfortunately, no difference. Device is still capped around ~200Mbps. Waiting for the advice.
Thank you in advance.

Hi, What is the wireless speed of other 5ghz mobile clients?
With an 866m/s link speed, the expected wireless speed could be about 350-450m/s varying in wireless distance and barriers.200m/s is not bad.
Is the computer next to the Deco M9 Plus?
It is also suggested to install the WiFi analyzer APP to see whether channel 36 is a crowded channel in the current wireless situation.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi David,
I have just tested download speed on my S23U and it seems it is capped around 200-230Mbps. Is M9 plus the bottleneck then? Both M9 plus V2 are connected through cat6 and app doesn't show any warning related to the connection. There are no other networks which would cause channel 36 to be crowded. PC is 2-3m from the router. Signal is very good on phone I have -40dBm.
Any ideas what to try next?
Thank you in advance.
