I have a problem with my tp link 3 port passthrough pwerline adapter AV1300.

My internet connection can often be measured at 70Mbits/s.

For some reason the transmission speed often falls below 5Mbits/s.

The solution is to unplug the adapter and plug it back in.

What can be the reason for this and, above all, how can the problem be solved?

  @JohannLAN

Hi, please monitor powerline rate between the two powerline adapters when the internet speed is good and also when the speed drops.

The powerline adapters internet speed can be affected by electrical interference, so if the powerline rate drops when the issue happens, please refer to the following guide to see if it can be more stable: What can I do if my powerline rate is very low?

By the way, if you connect to your router by using the same Ethernet cable when powerline adapter speed drops, is the router speed still normal?
